Trade shows are an arms race, but there is a definite method to win the battle: your booth… so why do we always try to reinvent the wheel?
Creating a remarkable trade show booth seems a difficult task to most of us because we tend to sort out the idea of “remarkable” with the word “impossible”. However achieve that is simple, but you have to be willing to invest time, money, and a little creative juice in your booth.
Here we show you some tips that you can apply to your booth in order to make it shine in the exhibition floor:
- Be coherent. When exhibiting, make sure your brand’s theme is reliable across all your design materials, from banners and images to freebies and more.
- Don’t assume people know who you are and what you do. Save time for your sales rep at any show and be sure to explain what you do in your banners, this way you can focus your efforts in the attendees who are genuinely interested in your company and want to talk about more specific issues.
- The back wall. If your booth is small or mid-sized, we recommend you to benefit from your back wall by displaying images that the attendees can associate with you. The main point is to choose one thing you want the audience to remember about you… so use it wisely.
- Be interactive with your audience. May be this is more a staff issue, but talk about this worth it. Years ago, people were used to be spoken at, but nowadays millennials want to be heard, they want to be part of the conversation and you can take advantage of the situation by leaving space to listen and allow contribution for larger conversations about products and services that will end up in the creation of advocacy within the audience for any trade show exhibit.
Taking part of a trade show to promote your brand can be a satisfying experience and can demonstrate a true ROI. Having a remarkable trade show booth is one element that can help you reach your goals so, what other strategies have you implement to make it happen?
